I adore glitter, if something comes in sparkly then I want it. I’d have glitter on my glasses but it would make me look like Dame Edna, having sparkly nails will have to do.
This week we’ve had the girls cousins over on Monday and Wednesday. They’re a huge help with Daisy and I love having them in the holidays. Our crafting for this half term has been all about the paints. Painting is Daisy’s absolute favourite activity at the moment.
We have one glittery blue paint, and I like to add normal glitter to the other paints. On Monday we did normal paintings, but on Wednesday we did canvases, which Phil had put masking tape on in the word LOVE, and also in the shape of a rocket! I love the results of what each came up with on their canvas. Sadly Daisy’s artistic temperament led her to pouring water on her canvas, which caused some bleeding through of the masking tape….
The pictures on my phone don’t show the glitter very well, but the canvasses look amazing, especially with the blue glitter paint.
So proud of the kids crafting efforts this week (and a bit sad I couldn’t do a canvas too).
